To learn more about the Robinson Terrace “Nursing Home” as most folks in the area call it, please visit their Web site at robinsonterrace.org. Please note: scroll down that page on their site and on the left side at the “Directions to our Skilled Nursing Facility” link you can enter your address for step-by-step directions to the building from your location.

General Location: Robinson Terrace Nursing Home is at 28652 Hwy 23 in Stamford, NY 12167. The driveway up to the facility is entered directly from Rte 23, just west of the intersection between NYS Rte 23 and Delaware County Rte 10. There is a traffic light at that intersection and a Stewart’s gas station, a nursery/farmstand, and a Rite Aid Center.

We do hope these maps are not confusing; any suggestions on how to clarify things will be appreciated. Once you are at the building you should have no trouble finding the concert location.

Parking Options: This aerial view of the Robinson Terrace facility is oriented as you will see it when you enter the driveway off of Rte 23. You will drive up a slight hill and if you continue straight you will enter the main parking lot on the main level of the building. The concerts are held in a large room on that main level. From the Main Entrance go through the lobby and down a diagonal hallway to the Glen Joshpe Classroom; signs will be posted. There are a few handicapped-reserved parking spaces near the entrance, but note that they are often occupied.

If instead you bear to the right and drive to the upper level of the building, there is additional parking but no direct access to the interior so it is only recommended for those who are comfortable walking a bit if the weather is pleasant. If you continue driving you will start to go downhill again to the area marked as "Rear Entrance" which we will be able to use for the concert days — however it will be closed once the concert begins. The rear entrance is very close to the concert location, so it is perfect for those who are less able to walk distances.

In the photo are many parked cars on the rightmost side, along the drive down to the area of the rear entrance. You may park there but it is on an incline so again, it is only recommended for those who are able to walk up- and down-hill. Entrances near the rear door itself are few and are flanked by dumpsters and occasionally by storage of construction materials; not very elegant, perhaps, but awfully convenient.
